My recent stay at The Midland was filled with highs and lows. On one hand, the afternoon tea was simply delightful, and the staff's attentiveness truly shined during our visit. However, the rooms showed some serious maintenance issues that made the experience less enjoyable. The management needs to address these problems promptly for an overall better experience.

The room we stayed in had noticeable maintenance issues, including a broken air conditioning unit and a non-functional shower that made the stay uncomfortable. Despite these setbacks, the bedding was notably comfortable.

I had a really mixed experience at the Midland Hotel. The atmosphere was lovely with some nice facilities and almost everything was pretty good, but the issues with the air conditioning were hard to overlook. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in easy, but dealing with the room's heating problem was frustrating. The quality of the food, especially the room service, was spot on though! Overall, it's a nice place but some areas need improvement.
Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious and nicely decorated, but the air conditioning was an absolute nightmare. We experienced excessive noise and discomfort during the night.
Service

The Midland Hotel has really suffered under its new management, with a noticeable decline in cleanliness and conditions. While some guests enjoyed their stays and praised the service and unique features, others experienced issues such as maintenance problems and disappointing customer interactions. Overall, the hotel has potential but needs significant improvements to meet expectations.
Rooms

My experience in the room was rather disappointing, as it felt cramped and had peeling paint, with a ceiling that was caving in.
Service

While some staff members were accommodating, my own experience with customer service was lacking, especially when my maintenance requests were ignored.

The hotel features a spa that seems to have potential, but my interactions there left much to be desired, pushing me to opt-out.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The staff were really helpful during my visit, and the room I eventually got was spacious and well-appointed. However, I did face some issues with the air conditioning and had a rough start with the first two rooms. The dining experience did leave something to be desired, especially with breakfast options being limited. Overall, the price felt a bit high for what I received, but I did enjoy the spa facilities.
Rooms
